Purpose and scope regulations

These regulations apply to everyone in the area of Marina Waterland composed of the marina (docks and slipway), the corresponding (parking) areas and all other buildings on the site, to ensure optimum safety for humans, animals and the environment. Our guests are bound by the provisions of these regulations and the instructions given by or on behalf of Marina Waterland and her crew.

Anyone who uses the marina, or enters the site, shall be deemed to be aware of these regulations.

A copy of these regulations are made public at the marina office.

Access Marina Waterland

1. The marina is open daily from 08.00 – 23.00;
2. Access to the marina is prohibited to unauthorized persons. Visiting berth holders must report upon arrival at the resort manager;
3. Visiting berth holders submit their vessel to berth at the place designated by the resort manager;
4. Pets are not allowed in the marina.

Rules of conduct

Anyone who is in the marina is to follow the instructions given by the resort manager to monitor and prevent objectionable behavior. Unless the resort manager has granted permission it is not permitted in the marina:

1. to hinder;
2. to run engines other than necessary for the vessel to move;
3. to perform maintenance activities on the vessel which can cause nuisance or damage to others or to the environment;
4. to engage the vessel or berth in any commercial activity. These include the sale of the vessel;
5. to submit another berth than agreed with the resort manager;
6. in any other way, to offend others and/or put peace and security in the marina at risk.

Safety

The resort manager is entitled to prohibit, if the interest of safety requires so:

1. To sail in and around the marina with an unsafe or inconvenient speed to others (more than 5 km p/h);
2. barbecue or open fire use;
3. batteries (in the vessel) to be charged, without supervision;
4. leave the vessel connected to shore power without supervision;
5. use inadequate mooring lines when docking and/or without protection against other ships and jetties. If the above occurs, the resort manager has the right to operate at the expense of consumer;
6. to leave gas bottles or fuel tanks unattended if the vessel is left behind for a long time;
7. fishing or diving in the marina.

Waste / environmental

Marina Waterland is committed to sustainability. Out of respect for nature and the environment we ask our guests to observe the following rules. Anyone who is in the Marina, is obliged to deposit waste in the appropriate bins.Special waste / landfill material shall not be occupied by the Marina. Under penalty of denial of access by the resort manager, and/or a fee obligation for the removal and/or cleaning of the pollution it is illegal:

1. for waste to be discharged in the water;
2. for toilet waste to be discharged in the water;
3. to contaminate water with oil or other pollutants such as bilge water, fat, non-degradable cleaning products, etc.;
4. to discharge toxic or hazardous waste (oil, paint, batteries, cleaners, etc.) in the water or deposit in the bins;
5. to harm animals or plants;
6. use drinking water for cleaning your vessel.

Liability and risk

1. Marina Waterland offers the possibility to accommodate vessels and is liable only for damage to the vessel or other things if that damage is the result of a deficiency which is attributable to Marina Waterland, or to persons who are appointed by the port for the performance of work;
2. Regarding the mutual obligations, liability and risk, we refer to the General Conditions for the leasing of berths of Marina Waterland;
3. The vessels are / are not insured by the entrepreneur. The berth holder must himself ensure an adequate insurance. An inadequate insurance against hull damage by the berth is the risk of the berth holder.

Use of slipway

1. Use of our slipway is allowed only by subscription and/or for marina berth holders of Waterland;
2. The boat ramp is designed for smaller sailboats and powerboats with such weight that they are safe by water. The slope is prohibited for personal watercraft;
3. Subscription holders must display a clearly visible and a valid sign under the windshield of the vehicle;
4. After launching boats empty trailer and vehicle should be parked in the designated parking area. No trailers or vehicles will be left behind on the slope, the beach or the grass;
5. In the case of a full parking area, trailer and vehicle must be parked outside the parking area;
6. There should be no use of the slope outside the opening of the resort;
7. Use of the slope is at your own risk.

Miscellaneous

1. Berthholders in the Marina are not authorized to rent their right to third parties;
2. No berth will be leased to vessels who by appearance, size or condition could produce concerns;
3. In all cases not covered by the port regulations the resort manager or his / her replacement will decide
